My Thanksgiving weekend and more!

Hopefully you all had a great Thanksgiving feast with your family. I hope that you guys spent your Thanksgiving day wisely and spent it with those of whom you are truly thankful for. I sure did have a great Thanksgiving along with some delicious family secret recipe for our turkey stuffing! This year, my family decided not to go all out on food and deserts for Thanksgiving, like we always do (we decided to save that for Christmas), therefore we just had our delicious turkey and stuffing, some goat curry-like dish, and some boiled chicken. I was hoping that I would be able to take some pictures of all the good food we had, but sadly I was super busy that I didn’t even bother doing so. That means no Thanksgiving photos, sorry :(
Anyways – a friend of mine from Oklahoma was in town and wanted to hang out and hit up the club, so my ladies and I decided to go out with him and his guys. It’s been such a long time since I last seen him, about 4 years now?? So it was definitely great seeing him again and catching up on life. It’s always good to see old faces again, it’s like you get a sudden rush of flashbacks – good times, of course!! So, I decided to be nice and share some of these clubbing photos with you all, obviously I won’t show ALL of them because, well…. let’s not get too personal now. Enjoy them!

You can tell we ended the night on a good note because of this picture! Mwuahahaha..

On a totally different note…..I feel like my 4 year relationship is coming close to an end. I never thought I’d be saying this, but I just feel like it’s that time. I hope I don’t sound too naïve and selfish, but I honestly think that we’ve been together for so long now that it’s getting kind of boring. You know what makes it worse is that he lives out of state, so I barely get to see him too. I know I should be patient because he sure is patient with me, but it’s not even about being patient anymore. Don’t worry, I’m not cheating on him nor do I have someone else waiting for me, I’m definitely not that type of girl nor do I tolerate stuff like that either, but I just feel like everything is starting to be a routine. I know I shouldn’t just look at what we have at this present time, but still…. Somewhat, I feel like we’re both slowly growing apart from each other. I’m almost speechless and at a loss for words because even I can’t explain the feelings that I am feeling inside. He’s such a good and loving guy, I’m afraid I might make the wrong decision. However, I must be true to myself and go with my guts. Maybe this mutual break-up will help us better understand if our relationship was meant to be or not. *Sighs* Anyways, I think I’ll leave it short here as I ponder away on my endless thoughts.. Have a great day everyone….

Busy weekends!

Before I get started, I just wanted to say....

Happy 3rd birthday to my princess, Milan GaoHmong Lao :)
Seems just like yesterday, my sister and brother in law were blessed with this little darling! I can't believe she's already three! Soon enough, she'll be going to school. It makes me sad to see my fat girl all grown up now... She's such a smartie pants and with such a quick mouth... Good luck to her future "boyfriendsssss." Anyways, I just wanted to start off by wishing my "mama" a happy birthday. I'm so blessed for such a cute, adorable, smart, and generous little niece. "On-shee Nan-she" loves you so much :)
Birthday girl dressed and ready for her birthday party!

Here's the snow white cake that my sister-in-law and I made for her!
She's so cute!!!

Since part of her middle name is Hmong, my sister (mother of the birthday girl) and I brainstormed up ideas for the cupcake... So then my sister-in-law and I designed these Hmong inspired cupcakes! Oooh, and I can't forget the best part.. These cupcakes have whipped strawberry filling, yes they're all home-baked and home-made! It was deliiiiiiiicioous!!

Birthday princess and I!!

Princess Milan and her 2 aunties!!

Busy weekend.
I kinda hate holidays that are back to back.. So much cooking and cleaning!!!! Anywho, I hope everyone had a great and safe weekend.. I spent my weekend baking 75+ cupcakes for my nieces' birthday and did lots of pipping!! I'm glad I have a short week of school this week.. But then.. BAM! Another long and busy weekend up ahead too! Jeebus, Hmong people eat too much. Lol.

So yeah, mom has to get her surgery done soon.... I'm waiting for it to be scheduled and done soon so that I won't have to worry about her. I love her so much.. I know she's a strong woman and she'll do just fine :) I think we're just waiting for my brother to call the Docs and schedule a time. I hope my mom doesn't think too much of it because she's one of those people who tends to think A LOT! I understand why she would do that, because she's such a kind and generous woman, but I think sometimes mom over-think things.. I'm just glad it's nothing major, just minimal :)

Anyways--
I think I'll leave it short here.. My eyes hurt from this darn computer screen and my butt is numb to it's core! So till then, good bye my loves.

My 3-day weekend.

Hi loves,

Oh boy! I guess my intention of a "busy" weekend didn't turn out quite as I thought it would. Here are some photos from my weekend. Enjoy :)

Decided to spend my Veterans day cleaning out the garage, since I'll be parking my new baby in there!

My adorable niece, Milan, she demanded me to put lipstick on her bc she said it was "mai-mai" (pretty). Hehe.. She's such a smart little girl :)

Decided to go over to my sister's place for some chips, dips, drinks and a movie!

I cleaned my whole entire room!!

A peek at my jewlery chest!

Although my weekend was a tad bit boring, overall I'm glad I was pretty darn productive! I was conversating with my mom the other day and I told her that I plan on doing some Fall cleaning around the house before the snow hits, and so far - I'm glad to say that I'm about 80% done!
So, obviously Thanksgiving is coming up soon! I can't wait to make our turkey because I believe it's the BEST turkey I've ever had. It's BOMB! Don't trust me? Come on over during Thanksgiving :) Hehe.. I'm thankful for many things this year. That being said, be on the lookout for my "Thankful" blog later on. I hope each and every one of you guys had a great Veteran's day and weekend. Ooh, before I go, I did a short video on my new ride for my sister whom is 300+ miles away... If you're curious, check out my channel: www.youtube.com/CatchingNancyy . Have a great night everyone!

Happy Thursday everyone!!
Since my early class was cancelled this morning, that gave me plenty of time to "beautify" myself for school. Now, I'm not one of those girls who would wake up hours before class and pack on a bunch of makeup for school. I usually like my school makeup to be simple and plain - some bronzer, blush, and lipstick would do! And indeed, that's what I did exactly! Since I don't normally and haven't curled my hair for a super long time now, I decided to add some style to my hair. I did some very light and my definition of "fluffy" curls today. I didn't use any hairspray because I kind of hate how it holds onto the curls... I think what I mean is that I want DEAD CURLS... In my opinion, I think they're much more sexier that way! & To complete my look, I added a touch of my Ruby Red lipstick and my all time FAVORITE white hoop earrings!! If you know me, you'd know that I truly adore HOOP earrings, see.... you're learning something about me already along the way :)

Anywho, I'm glad I'm off school tomorrow (Veteran's Day)!! That means a lazy 3-day weekend for me - yayy!! Actually, I lied.. I might be busy. Hm, I kind of want to get some shopping done today! I hate it when I shop for unnecessary things. Okay, I'll leave it short here because it's time for me to go home and pretend like I'm gonna be busy doing something! Haha. Ooh, actually.. I do want to go out for drinks tonight with the ladies.. I'll have to give them all a call. Have a great weekend and I'll see you Monday!

Let's talk brows!

One thing I can honestly say that I like about myself... My brows!
I know it sounds silly, but I love my brows!!! They may not be symmetric (I don't even think anyone has symmetric brows! Unless if they tatooed it - but that's considered cheating!!) but they're close to it, I think? I used to always have this 6-month thingy where I would always go get'em waxed at the salon, and I only trusted the salon owner with my brows because everytime she waxes my brows, they would look super close to being symmetric. She's had her employees wax my brows a few times and they could never get it right! Anywho, that's just too bad because after some years later she closed her shop!! So now, I'm just tweezing my brows myself, otherwise I have my sister do it for me. I'm thinking about going to Sally's and buying myself a set of those waxing kits... Hm, I'll have to think about this a bit more!

Lunchables anyone?

Does anyone even remember having lunchables while going on their field trips in elementary/junior high?
Well, I sure do! This is what I had for lunch today, turkey and cheddar cheese with some crackers, grapes, skittles, and water! Since both my sister and I skipped breakfast, we decided to run to Festival Foods while on our 3-hr break. We wanted to get something that wouldn't make us so tired afterwards, if you know what I mean! So we both grabbed ourselves lunchables!! Oooh how I miss being a kid and not having to worry about responsibilities.. It makes me miss my sisters. I can still capture those moments like it was yesterday.. Me running home from school, telling my dad he had to take me to Jubilee's to get a lunchable. How time passes by so quickly! That being said, here's my quote of the day:
"Life is a dream for the wise, a game for the fool, a comedy for the rich, a tragedy for the poor."
- Sholom Aleichem

A new blogger in town.

Hey guys... My last blog was an epic failure because I only had it for a day? Or maybe not even :( So here I am, on a new site.. Same name! The previous blog site that I was on was a bit confusing and I just didn't get the hang of it. You're probably thinking, "well yeah... You didn't even give it a day!!" And yes I agree with you, but I'm a type of person that goes handy with computers - so I'm sure even if I stuck with it, I probably would of given up otherwise!

So here... Giving it another try. I'm more used to this blog site because I've had a previous one with my sisters!! I hope you guys will continue following me and enjoy my blogs! I'm probably the only person I know that doesn't have internet at home, so if you start noticing any gaps in between my blogs you already know the reason why.. & I apologize beforehand!

So folks.. Let's start it off! Just your eyes and my thoughts - ENJOY ;)
